Mr. Narendra Kumar Shah, founder of Eskent Enterprises, is a respected and influential figure in the cutting tools industry, with a career spanning over four decades. He began his professional journey at Embee Tools in 1980 and then co-founded Eskent Tools Private Ltd in 1984 along with Late Mr. Late Sankar Chakraborty, Mr. Sunil Talukdar, and engineering expert Mr. Shyam Ghosh. The company specializes in the manufacture of slitting saws and cutters and, under the collective leadership of the founders, grows into a successful and trusted enterprise.

Over the years, Eskent Tools Private Limited built a strong reputation for producing high-quality cutting tools, particularly for the horological and electrical industries. The company became well known for developing effective import substitutes, including Mica Undercutting Cutters and Commutator Cutters, catering specifically to the needs of the electrical sector available to all in India at reasonable rates.

Following the retirement of his partners in 2018, Mr. N. K. Shah took charge of running the business. Drawing on his deep industry experience and unwavering commitment to quality, he established Eskent Enterprises in 2019 to carry forward the legacy. Today, Eskent is recognized for its extensive range of HSS circular saws designed for diverse applications, with diameters ranging from 10 mm to 315 mm and thicknesses from 0.15 mm to 6 mm.

Operating from a well-equipped manufacturing facility and in-house heat treatment facility in Bangalore Eskent remains committed to consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations with support from our skilled workforce. After Mr. Shah’s passing in July 2025, the production team came together with renewed strength and commitment to continue running the business under proprietorship of Ms Sheetal. With nearly 19 years of IT experience in supply chain and order management, she is specialized in leading teams, managing operations, and delivering projects end to end. She believes in understanding and empowering people to achieve strong results with accountability and trust. Deeply aware of her uncle’s vision for the business, and supported by strong emotional resilience, she is committed to carrying his legacy forward through stability, consistency, and sustainable growth.
